Hi,
I've been married to my wife for over 35 years, so as you can imagine I have reached a stage where buying an original birthday present is very difficult. However, this year we got an allotment and have started growing our own vegetables ...... so I thought about a trug. My wife opened it this morning and was thrilled with it, as was I. It really is a practical work of art and I am sure she will get many years of use and pleasure from it. I am pleased there are still craftsman around with your high level of skill.

I finally got to view the trug I brought off of you a couple of weeks ago for my friends 40th Birthday. My friend lives in a lovely old cottage and she has given it pride of place on her windowsill in the kitchen, soon to be filled with vegetables I suspect it will look even better. Anyway, I just wanted to say thank you, it's great, my friend loves it and I'm sure she will treasure it for the rest of her life. I shall order another from you in the next two weeks for my Mother-in-Law and at some point I'm sure I shall have to treat myself. Thank you once again. Ordering over the phone and delivery by fed-ex is so convenient. I had wanted to buy a trug for the last couple of months, tried the local garden centres but was told they were too expensive and didn't sell. I so pleased they don't otherwise I wouldn't have found your website. Thanks again and I will be in touch soon.

The appearance and quality are excellent and the materials and standard of construction are very robust. The trug is currently on display with fruit and vegetables as in the current snowy weather there is no harvest to be gathered!

I have been meaning to drop you a line all summer to tell you that the trug that my husband bought me for a present earlier this year has been very well used, and your first-class workmanship has ensured that it is still looking as good as new. Wondering what to buy a male friend for his 60th I came up with the idea of a trug as he has his own allotment. Looking around garden centres I was not happy with the cost and the construction of their trugs. Found your web site, read the feed back comments and decided to order one. It arrived this morning (prompt delivery as promised). The harlequin trug is beautifully constructed and will be a great gift. Thank you for having pride in what you produce, it puts the other makes to shame as theirs are put together using staples!!

Well I just have to write and thank you for the trug. My friend was absolutely delighted, and, therefore, so am I. The extra effort you went to, to get it despatched on Wednesday, was very much appreciated as it was delivered on Thursday. When I eventually caught up by phone at the weekend, her first words were "It's wonderful", followed by the usual protestations about it being too nice to use in the garden! I have repeated that it is to be used at least for gathering as well as any other practical use indoors or out. You describe the Harlequin range as a gift with the Wow factor, I wholeheartedly agree!

Just wanted to let you know that this morning Dad opened his birthday gift, the No7 trug, and he is totally over the moon with it. He said, "How lovely that the man who has everything has just received the perfect birthday present, it's spot on". My wife says that she is a wood lover but that she has never seen anything so beautiful as your trug. It was well worth the bother and extra expense to receive the trug in Sweden.

Hi ,just to say many thanks for the trug. It is for my son Ben who now has his own garden. Bens grandfather George Gray worked for many years until its closure at Thomas Smiths in Herstmonceux and we thought it would be a nice link with George who is sadly no longer with us.
